This book was well written, very entertaining and a good read. The characters and their different personalities are easy to relate to and it seems as if you're trapped with them. With every plot twist, it gets harder and harder to put down! Definitely recommend to anyone over the age of thirteen.

It was extremely well written. There were so many crazy plot twists it was utterly impossible to feel bored. I'm looking forward to book 2.

I loved this book and could not put it down. Forget about it being a teenage read. This is great for all ages.
It was well written and pieced together. The author holds you from the first page.
I am hoping for a sequel.

Really enjoyed this book, the mix of ages and personalities of the kids locked int he store and how they learn to cope with the 'end of the world'. Fast paced and couldn't put it down, can't wait to read book 2.

Young adult survivalist fiction. A number of students are stranded in a box store during increasingly dangerous weather. This is a good introduction to apocalyptic/ survivalist fiction. It is a lot less violent and gory than usual, which is a nice break.

This book is very easy to describe. It's a mix of Life as We Knew It by Susan Beth Pfeffer and Trapped by Michael Northrop. If you mixed the two books together, you would make Monument 14 with one or two slight changes. It was definitely on the easy side for me, a sophomore, and it was a bit boring but it was okay.
