This extraordinary book is a collection of short biographies of great people who changed the world. Each biography is short, two pages at most. Many are poignant to the point of bringing tears to your eyes. This speaks well for Meltzer skill as a writer. And excellent jumping off point for a conversation about heroes with children of all ages.
